A SMARTASS---KILL SWITCHES---AND XXX
We have had quite a week. Lot's of smart-asses. I guess the first was Lady Ga-Ga, and I don't even want to go there. She has Jerry Seinfeld pissed at her, and that is kinda like Moses departing the Red Sea on you. What doe's 'Ga-GA' stand for anyway? I am not going with the link answer. I think it was more like, someone found her puking in a public toilet. And they asked her 'whats your name?'. And she replied, 'Ga-Ga(gurrgle).

FEDERALIST FRIDAY 6.25.2K10
They are of the People, and return again to mix with the People, having no more durable preeminence than the different Grains of Sand in an Hourglass. Such an Assembly cannot easily become dangerous to Liberty. They are the Servants of the People, sent together to do the People's Business, and promote the public Welfare; their Powers must be sufficient, or their Duties cannot be performed. They have no profitable Appointments, but a mere Payment of daily Wages, such as are scarcely equivalent to their Experiences; so that, having no Chance for great Places, and enormous Salaries or Pensions, as in some Countries, there is no triguing or bribing for Elections.
Benjamin Franklin, letter to George Whatley, May 23, 1785

I WANT TO TALK ABOUT ME, I WANT TO TALK ABOUT MINE...PART II
This is a continuation of one of the first posts I ever made. When I posed it, I hoped I might have promised you a 'movie' of sorts as it occurred .
When I started blogging, I didn't know what was happening. I figured I would post my little 'Night Before Christmas, Obama Style', and that would be it. Little did I know, I always wanted to be in Journalism, not sales.

A BUMPY RIDE 6.21.2K10
I told you it was going to be a bumpy ride. Now we are seeing it come loud, and proud. Thank God. But, Rahm never wants to let a 'good catastrophe' go wasted.

I AM GOING LONG...................REAL LONG...................
After my divorce, and my disability, I have decided to make some changes. Because, WTF! I don't have anybody else to please. No Corporate suit, and tie. No wife. No Bosses, No Nada.
I am going LONG, real LONG. No ladies, can't say to that effect, except it's a disappearing mystery to me. I mean LONG, with the beard/hair in the lines of of Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP.

OBSERVATIONS FROM A BLOWN FUSE 6.14.2K10
What has gone wrong with this world when a simple math problem (2+2=5) is considered a good try, and given credit for it?
Why do you play sports, without an outcome? Who wins, who loses? What are we teaching kids that it is OK to come out even. Let's play a soccer match(who plays baseball anymore?) and we will give the losers an award for participation.

FEDERALIST FRIDAY 6.11.2K10
O ye that love mankind! Ye that dare oppose, not only the tyranny, but the tyrant, stand forth! Every spot of the old world is overrun with oppression. Freedom hath been hunted round the globe. Asia, and Africa, have long expelled her. — Europe regards her like a stranger, and England hath given her warning to depart. O! receive the fugitive, and prepare in time an asylum for mankind.--Thomas Paine

A BUMPY RIDE 6.8.2K10 IT AIN'T OVER YET
If you follow this blog closely you know that I am for freedom, liberty, virtue, and truth. You know I don't like Government per-sea, except to defend our borders, and control interstate commerce. Outside of that, I wish that it were left up to the States own accord. After that it is, WE THE PEOPLE, that control our destiny, our fate.

WHY ARE THERE NO GUN COMMERCIALS?
I was just wondering---We see commercials for feminine hygiene products. Male enhancement products(someone please tell me if these really work?). The new wave of sexual enhancement lubricants. Sex in your neighborhood, by dialing a 800 phone number, and even a freekin steam mop. But what, why no commercials for GUNS? Like Clint said, "this is a 357 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world....so do you feel lucky today punk?"

FEDERALIST FRIDAY 6.4.2K10

PAUL MCCARTNEY: Lay Off 'Great Guy'...
“I’m a big fan, he’s a great guy. So lay off him, he’s doing great,” the British songsmith said on Tuesday, ABC News reported.
Well let's see, we have our favorite Beatle, not a citizen of the USA, preaching to US, that he thinks Barry is such a great guy, we should 'lay off' him.
The Great Sir Paul, who has performed in front of millions of adoring fans, kings, queens, and neardowell, statesman, for over four decades said, he planned to "try to have fun", but predicted a case of the nerves when performing "like three feet away" from Obama.

IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME IN D.C. --- NO BIG DEAL!
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel tapped former President Bill Clinton to see if U.S. Rep. Joseph Sestak, D-7, of Edgmont, would rather retain his House seat and work in an advisory position to President Barack Obama than run for the U.S. Senate, according to a memo released by White House Counsel Robert Bauer Friday. --Alex Rose
It happens all the time,
by Jerome Armstrong, Thu May 27, 2010 at 09:37:58 AM EDT
That was the justification laid out for the Nebraska bribe that happened during HCR and Ben Nelson's shenanigans. A predictable firestorm broke out. So when I saw the usual suspects trotting out this defense over Sestak and whatever claims he had to getting a job offer from someone in the WH to not run against Specter, it smelled like smoke again.
