For me Don E. I dunno, Don't get it at all. But WTF I'm a 52 year ole fart. To get to the skinny [or to the 'meat'] of the matter this intrepid blogger went to the heart of the question and asked my 20 year old Daughter the question,
"Why is everyone so gaga for Gaga"...
"Despite Lady Gaga's extreme fashion choices, she is a voice for my generation. Her prerogative is not to influence fashion senses, but to rid minds of judgment. She reminds us that we should not be judged, because we were "Born This Way". Imagine the strength she transfers to teens who struggle in school due to the constant ridicule of their peers. Not only does Gaga influence people to BE WHO THEY WANT TO BE, she is a constant reminder of the result of hard work and dedication. Lady Gaga is her own writer, choreographer, set designer, stylist, etc- she is a breath of fresh air in the music industry. She lives and breathes her OWN air. She is an artist, which is seldom in the world today".
