My Second Anniversary

As I sit here and ponder
The annually recurring date of a past event,

Memories circle my Brain,
What did I do
Had I gone Insane?
Around this date two years ago,
I held an envelope in my hand.
I knew what was in it,
For it was according too your plan.
I tossed it aside,
not giving it a second thought.
I used its back to write menu
items for Chinese take-out, that would soon be bought.
Months later the envelope caught my eye.
"I probably should open it", I said with a sigh
It was Legalese from Tarrant County...
...blahblahblah, blahblahblah,
I continued to read, The Divorce Decree...
..."IT IS THEREFOR ORDERED that the bonds of matrimony between the petitioner, and Don E, be and are hereby dissolved and a Decree Of Divorce is hereby granted to petitioner on the grounds of insupportability".
So on the date of my Second Anniversary,
the same thought circles my brain,
"insupportability"!
WTF is wrong with You, petitioner?
